How to get started with a Home Care Package Provider.

We make it super easy to get started with us. We help you get your Home Care Package services started as soon as possible. We help you get more control from your Home Care Package, meaning once you get started you get to be in charge of who delivers your services, when they visit and at what price. Whether you have a new Home Care Package, or are looking to switch Providers, we make the process seamless.

Want to get your Home Care Package funds activated and start receiving services at home? Our team can help get you started straight away. 

Step 1

Sign Up.

If you have had your acat assessment and received your Home Care Package, or are looking to switch Providers, we can get you signed up straight away with no wait times! Once we have an initial assessment with you over the phone and hear about the types of ongoing care you are looking for at home, our Care Experts will arrange the sign up documents for you to complete online.

Once your sign up is finalised you will be assigned a Care Manager who will prepare your Individual Care Plan and Budget, specified to your unique care needs.

Start your services.

With Let’s Get Care you have the ability to choose from our huge list of amazing service suppliers, or bring your own people onboard.

Whether you’re looking for personal care, home maintenance, specialist services or other types of comprehensive or basic care, with us you will have the power to choose the care you need at home. Not only will you have control over the supports you recieve, but also the support worker or health professional that delivers them. If you aren’t happy with the services you’re receiving or your health needs change you will also have the power to change or add other specialist services.

You will have a dedicated Care Manager to assist you along the way and answer any questions you have.

We also have innovative technology to support you with your Home Care Package. With us you have access to myCare, a tool that helps you ensure the services you receive are in line with your care needs. You also get access to our accounts payable system, Green Pencil. This lets you view your funding, invoices and statements.

Choosing how to manage your package.

We offer a range of package management options to help you get the best possible support from your Home Care Package. We offer a range of different options based on your individual care needs.

Self-management

With self-management you hire and schedule your care services you want, when it suits you. That means you get to choose the care provider, the time they visit, how often they visit and often the rate they charge, helping you get more from the same funding.

Part-management

With part-management, we set up your care services. And from there you take on the day to day coordination.

Full-management

With full management you get the full support of a Care Manager who sets everything up for you.

Home care package costs.

We charge a low and transparent combined fees and are passionate about helping you get more from your Home Care Package with us. Your Home Care Package level will determine the funds you have available to spend on the home care services you need at home. Regardless of which level of funding you have we charge no hidden fees including the basic daily fee. We help you get more from your funding. 

A Level 1 package is designed to support older Australians with basic home care needs. It is the lowest level of funding through a Home Care Package.
A Level 2 Home Care Package supports those individuals with low level care needs to get support from aged care services at home.
A Level 3 Home Care Package supports those with intermediate care needs to live better lives at home. Your funds will be used to spend on the care services you need at home.
Level 4 is the highest level of Home Care Packages funding and there to support those older people with high care needs. Your Home Care Package budget on a Level 4 will have over $50,000 per year to go towards the Home Care Package fees of the Provider you choose, as well as your supports and services.

Starting the process.

Starting the process can seem like the hardest part, but with our support it’s easy. We help eligible older Australians get the quality care services they need through their Australian government funded Home Care Packages to improve and maintain their health and wellbeing.

You might have a package, have had a meeting with the Aged Care Assessment team and are waiting to receive one, or this could be your first time visiting an aged care website, it can still be confusing regardless of where you are in the journey.
