At Let’s Get Care we help you get more from your Home Care Package as a care recipient. We do this by limiting our Provider charges and giving you the freedom to choose your own services. We charge a low and transparent combined fee and no hidden fees, to ensure you get more from your funding to stay living longer in your family home.

About our fees.

With Let’s Get Care, you will minimise management fees and maximise Home Care Package funds, regardless of the level of management you opt for.

We charge transparent management fees for both package and care with no extra costs like basic daily fee or exit fee. Our fees cover preparing invoices and your monthly statement, support from a dedicated Care Manager, conducting quality improvements, compliance and assurance activities, training and educating staff, reviewing your care plan and more!

If your needs change along the time, we will support you to get the best option and make the transition seamless for you.

What’s included?

Our low flat fee covers all the necessary administration of your package. It also covers the package and care and package management of your Home Care Package. This includes complete set up of your initial Care Plan, annual reviews, access to our innovative tools and financial reconciliation of your Home Care Package. You’ll also have access to a dedicated Care Manager and broader care team if you need any help at all, at any time.

What services you access through your Home Care Package depends on your unique needs. We offer a variety of support services within your Home Care Package budget. Your government funding will be used on the care you need to live a better life at home and you will have the choice and control to choose from the services provided. The cost of these services will depend on which of our valued supplier your choose to deliver your services. When you self-manage you can choose who you want to deliver your services, when the visit and how much you are willing to pay per hour of service. You get more control with us. 

Personal care

Grooming, bathing, dressing, continence and mobility.

Domestic assistance

Basic care and support at your home including meal preparation, laundry, and more.

Social support

Support and transport to attend appointments, go shopping and attend social functions.

Allied health & therapy

This service includes physiotherapy, podiatry and more to support your health needs.

Nursing care

Specialised clinical services to address any concerns.

Respite care

Assisting family members to take a well deserved break when needed.

We provide in-home services Australia-wide.

We work closely with our clients and their family to keep them living safely in their own homes. Whether you need a few hours or around the clock care support or other services each week, we will allow you to find a dedicated care team local to you with ongoing administration to keep you safe at home.

How to set up care services.

We help you get your in-home aged care support started quickly to ensure you get the services you need to continue living safely and happily at home. With us it’s easy.

FAQs.

We charge a low flat fee that covers all the necessary costs and fees to manage your package. It also covers the fees for managing the package and care of your Home Care Package.The care management fee is a charge for the planning, coordination, and ongoing management of your Home Care Package by a Care Manager, ensuring your individual needs and preferences are met. Package management fee is administration costs for setting up your initial Care Plan, providing statements for each month, annual review and financial reconciliation of your home care budget. You’ll also have access to a Care Manager if you need any help at all, at any time.

If you are a self-funded retiree or on a part age pension you may be required to make a small contribution towards your Home Care Package, what is called the ‘Income Tested Fee’. The ‘Income Tested Fee’ is based on an assessment of your individual income and can mean you will have to make an extra contribution to your package.

If you are assessed as having to contribute to your Home Care Package, then you must pay the ‘Income Tested Fee’. No Provider is able to waive this fee.

No, providers charge different fees based on their pricing structure. While Let’s Get Care only charges a fixed and transparent combined fee for each management model, some other providers may charge additional costs like the Basic Daily Fee or travel costs. It’s important to inquire about all possible fees and compare them across providers to ensure you are getting the maximum amount of government subsidy for your Home Care Package.

If you’re applying for a government-subsidised Home Care Package, an Income Assessment is generally required to determine if you need to pay an Income Tested Fee. The assessment is conducted by the Services Australia. If your income falls below a certain income threshold, you may not need to pay the Income Tested Fee. It’s essential to complete this assessment to ensure you’re paying the correct fees for your Home Care Package.
