The first step is to speak with one of our Care Experts and make an enquiry about the reasons for your call and the type of services you need at home. We will discuss which option will best suit you and your care needs.

Our friendly Care Experts will arrange the signup documents for you to complete online so you can get your services started as soon as possible. Your Home Care Package covers the help you need with daily activities.

And you’re ready to get your services started! If you choose to self manage, finding and hiring those who deliver your services will be part of your role. With Let’s Get Care you have the ability to choose from our huge list of amazing service suppliers or bring your own carers onboard.


We’ve put together a list of frequently asked questions to guide you through the home care journey. We know it can be confusing, but we hope this helps to explain some of the most commonly confusing topics. 

A Home Care Package (HCP) is funding given to older Australians through a government-subsidised program with the aim of providing long-term support for elderly individuals who want to continue living independently at home.

There are four levels of Home Care Packages each with a different level of funding. Level 1 is the lowest amount of funding and Level 4 is the highest that an individual can receive.

After your assessment, you will receive a letter from My Aged Care letting you know the outcome of your assessment. If you are eligible for support you will be approved for a specific level (1,2,3 or 4) and placed in the national queue to wait for a package to be assigned to you.

When you are assigned your package, you will receive another letter indicating your assigned level and an individual referral code. At this time, you’ll need to choose your Provider.
