Self-management

How your package funds work with us.
When you self-manage your Home Care Package with Let’s Get Care, there are more funds available to spend on the care services you need. This is because the combination of our low transparent fees, and the choice to select the care providers you want to deliver your services at a rate you’re comfortable with means more funds left in your package.
We charge no hidden fees, and our low combined package and care management fee is spent on ensuring the person you speak to on the phone, whether it be your dedicated Care Manager, a clinical nurse or our friendly reception team, are trained and qualified to support you at home.
Average Industry Service Rates.
We operate under a brokered model, meaning the rates for your care services depend on the rates charged by the service providers you choose. To provide an indication of industry pricing, we have included in the table below the national median prices for common care services as published by the Department of Health and Aged Care. These prices are current as of 30 September 2024 and are subject to change.

The first step is to speak with one of our Care Experts and we will discuss which option will best suit you and your care needs regardless of the level of the funds you’re receiving.
Our friendly Care Experts will arrange the signup documents for you to complete online so you can get your services started as soon as possible.
And you’re ready to get your services started! Our dedicated Care Manager will prepare a customised Care Plan for you. Moreover, with Let’s Get Care, you have the ability to choose from our huge list of amazing service suppliers or bring your own carers onboard.

Absolutely, flexibility is at the core of our services. If you find your current model isn’t aligning with your needs or expectations, you can seamlessly transition to another management model. We’re committed to ensuring that your home care services are as adaptable as you need it to be, meeting your evolving needs and preferences. Your Care Manager is responsible to support you through the transition process, making it as smooth and hassle-free as possible to ensure your continued comfort and satisfaction.
When you start a Home Care Package, you and your Provider make a Home Care Agreement that outlines the services you will receive. This agreement describes your rights and also the Provider’s rights, as well as the fees you will be charged. The agreement will also refer to other documents like your Care Plan and Budget. They are legally binding.
We have an innovative partnership with Green Pencil, an accounts payable system that gives our clients online access to their Home Care Package funds balance and the monthly statement.
With Green Pencil, using your unique login, you are able to view the inflow and outflow of purchases and payments that have been made from your package. All payments and reimbursement of invoices will happen in 5 business days.
This sort of transparency is revolutionary for package holders and gives you real control and visibility about what is being charged and when.
